Blue into the Void

Obviously more macro experimentation (Don’t worry, I’ll switch it up again soon). As I mentioned previously, getting the lighting right is tricky. I had just added blue food coloring to the water and was testing the exposure and focal plane (using the extension tubes makes the camera’s light meter useless) when I took this shot. Accidental shots like this remind me there is something pretty exceptional in the ordinary.
Another poster asked about digital editing. For those interested, I use Adobe Lightroom 4 to process the RAW images.
